Pre-Writing Notes: I DO NOT WANT TO WRITE TONIGHT. DO. NOT. *ugh* *sigh* *RAWR* I’d rather read. Just sit and read, maybe watch something, but mostly just want to read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and pretend like my tidy-life would be soooooooo fantastic and perfect, if only I’d start. I want to drink champagne and twiddle my thumbs. I want to listen to Acceptance on my phone or dig back into Mrs. Dalloway. I want to scream or laugh or laze about like a 17th century indolent. The LAST THING I want to do right now is try to figure out what I need to write tonight, OR bother to put the words on the page, because really, they’re allllllll going to need to be rewritten eventually anyway, right? Because it’s all a bunch of fluff-nonsense with flat characters and a painstaking plot and no forward momentum and BAH I just DON’T WANT TO. Also, I’m tired. Also, I’m bored. Also, I just don’t want to.

It was still a bit sticky getting going, but blasting music helped, and at least I know the “sound-track” for this particular story, which does help get the creative juices flowing when things get stuck. Solid progress, but good grief I’m tired. Also, here’s my faces before starting tonight (only a little staged…but pretty accurate!):
