Love love loving this voice. For nearly the first time since deciding to completely rework the story from scratch, I really feel like I’ve hit on the voice. It is exactly what I want it to be right now, or at least, it’s flowing out with so little effort, just like it did before when I first discovered it (24k into the first version! RAWR!). I feel like I’m actually going to be able to recoup a lot of the previously lost scenes from Act II, but if not, honestly? I’m okay with that. Because right now, for how long I don’t know, I am just really enjoying the words. This is where I’ve always wanted to be, the kind of thing I’ve always wanted to write. And I’m absolutely delighted.
