Swapped out about 250 words from yesterday’s run and got cracking. Have a splitting headache (either from laying with my neck at an odd angle earlier or allergies (yay)), so I’m proud I even managed to summon up the discipline to get my 1k done and call it. And actually, I’m pretty pleased. So, so, SO much better than yesterday. The time in the scenes flowed better, I could suss out what the “boring bits” were and skip them more or less effectively (when I get bogged, I tend to show LITERALLY EVERYTHING, down to every eye-glance and nose-scratch or, in action, grabbing and turning door handles. Lots of door handles).

But! I’ve got a birthday cake to design and make, which may cut my week short, since I don’t want to have to do it last-minute and I won’t have time this weekend. I was hoping to clop along pretty regularly this week, but am only now realizing HOW MUCH STUFF I have to get done before Bug’s birthday…EEEK! So I may be a bit flaky this week, we’ll see. If so, I’ll pick up again next week once the madness is over. :)
