Groping around in the dark tonight. Didn’t get much time to really sit down and think about where Chapter 16 is going, since I’ve kind of bumped back (maybe) what the original outline suggested would go here (very, very loosely). It may still work, but there’s this big hole gaping at me for this chapter, asking what it’s purpose is, what’s supposed to be revealed here, why this chapter is important, and honestly, at the moment, I’ve got no answers at all.
I just kind of need to spend some thinking time figuring out what’s important to portray, and what kind of secrets I could reveal here that I haven’t already. There’s plenty of secrets, but which ones are useful now? In this moment? I’m not sure. So I’ll need to think on it, but with a busy weekend looming–starting on Friday, but I’m hoping I’ll still get done what needs to be done–I’m worried mental time is going to be scarce…
