Love Me to the Bone
Draft 1
Words Added: 1,404
What Happened in the Story: Madeline waits in line to use the more popular kinetoscope, thinking perhaps the more popular one gives better memories. She feels certain that today is the day she’ll see what she needs to see, and she will! Just not in the way she’d been hoping…
Additional Notes: WE HIT THE END OF ACT 1!!! EVERYTHING IS HITTING THE FAN FOR REAL NOW! *ahem* Anyway, very excited, as you can see, to get to the end of the first act. It took some serious effort to get there, and while I didn’t get there in October, I did at least get there fairly early in November! Hopefully, too, things will get more exciting from here and produce a little faster word-count tallying, but we’ll see.
Also, if you like my work and would like to keep up with what I’m doing on a fun, monthly basis, I just launched my physical newsletter, which will be mailed out at the end of each month. It’ll include an exclusive flash fiction story, info about what I’ve got coming out, what I’m working on, a comic of some kind, and recommendations, among other things. If you’re interested in receiving one (physical or digital), just reach out to me on my Contact form and let me know.
Thanks for following along, and I hope you enjoy the ride! I’ll try and make these daily updates (on writing days), but I’ll probably miss a few now and then. Sorry about that in advance, but I’ll do my best to be consistent. If you’re craving some personal stakes in this process, feel free to toss me a “You Can Do It!” donation at my Ko-fi shop! I’m going to need a lot of coffee for this…
