UGH. BUH. Just…ugh. A thousand words, at least, tonight, though I really had to throw myself over the finishing line, because I was ready to be done by 800. Made this note at the beginning of the session:

“As much as I’m thrilled by these awesome days where everything clicks and works and the word-count just streams out, I find the day after is often reeeeeally hard to get started on. It’s like the hypnotic state of the day before has drained the necessary energy build-up today’s work requires, so getting back to it is just that much harder. I want to bask in the glory of the good day, and not get down to the drudgery that it feels like must inevitably follow. “

Tough night. Don’t hate the work, it did what it needed to do, and more–actually–if I’m being honest. I just…had to fight for everything tonight. Hopefully tomorrow will be more even-keel.
