What Happened in the Story: Couple of out-of-sequence scenes–Madeline, prior to going to Irene’s, goes to the kinetoscope in the quiet part of town, which she’s been avoiding, and bumps into a man there who has no memories left to watch. It’s never occurred to her that the memories in the kinetoscope might be limited, and regrets burning through so many looking for what she wanted. Second scene is a rework of the midpoint–when Madeline and Devon meet face-to-face for the first time, one dead and one alive, and have to process that.
Additional Notes: Got something done today at least! Throat’s all grunchy (that’s a word, shut up) and I’ve got a dry cough and a little post-nasal drip, and just feel a bit gross. BUH. I’d kind of hoped I’d avoided Thing 1’s cold, but maybe I wasn’t so lucky… Either that, or Andy’s given it to me, because he’s been crunchy for weeks. Yuck.
Also, I’m getting into “NEW PLANNER ITIS” season, when I’ve got my new planners, but it’s too early to break into them, and it’s killing me a little, but also I love planning how I’m going to use them, so maybe it’s okay? *cough* *cough*
