Possibilities

So I had my first phone interview through Campus Point with a possible employer! Hooray! The interviewer liked me enough to have the CP representative schedule me for a video-conference interview at their Portland offices this Friday. Here’s hoping things go well!

Other than that, I’ve taken on some more marketing duties with Apex Publications which should be both challenging and a lot of fun, all the same. ^_^ Now, I’ll be assisting in the marketing of the next four upcoming releases from Apex Book Company, two of which are largely prepped for release, and two of which I’ll be running from scratch like CATACOMBS AND PHOTOGRAPHS. I’m really excited about this prospect, and I’m ready for the challenge.

Writing Stuff

Actually managed to get my 500 words done for the day! That strikes me as amazing, because with the phone interview, Apex stuff, and the scheduling of the face-to-face interview, I’ve been all afluster. Does make it tougher to sit down and stay put for a while. Lol.

But I reached and surpassed my word requirement for the day, and I think it may be turning back toward the more interesting side. The one problem with sitting down and just writing a place is that I don’t have a whole lot of direction or purpose in where the story goes. This experiment has shown me that I much prefer having some kind of game-plan or word-limit to shoot for. Keeps my writing tight, because I do have a tendancy to be incredibly wordy.
